I live on the east coast and recently had to sell my father’s home to raise funds for his occupancy at a senior living memory care facility. My father was living at home with dementia until a heart attack forced me as his conservator to place him in a care facility. As the situation moved rapidly and I was not in California when the courts approved my sale of the home, I had to find a realtor online. I was reticent about this rather than interviewing perspective realtors in person. After finding Mark Fuller online, it was telephone interview time. I explained to Mark the entirety of the story after confirming with him he was willing and able to work a home sale under California Conservatorship rules. I was frankly surprised when after telling Mark the whole story about my father, he had not been scared off. I should have also played the lottery that day as Mark Fuller turned out to be the most professional, unselfish, initiative driven, solution making realtor I have ever met in over a dozen prior real estate transactions. Mark listened intently to the situation my father was in and why we needed to sell quickly. Mark then came up with a viable plan to sell Dad’s home for maximum profit and shortest of time. A few weeks later when I flew out to Sacramento to see my father and meet Mark, he offered to pick me up at the airport! Mark made sure I was constantly in the loop on requirements, meetings, and paperwork I needed to complete. Mark Fuller also worked with my attorney in order to ensure all legal matters were met properly which eliminated a middle-man and saved time and money. Mark spent his weekends and holidays at work on my father’s home sale. Mark found a qualified buyer rapidly in an otherwise slower market and achieved high dollar for my father’s home. As the closing progressed, Mark rolled up his sleeves and helped me accomplish clean-up of Dad’s home and property as well as provide access to an array of contacts ready to assist in the effort. In preparation for a septic inspection, Mark came to my father’s home and dug the hole necessary to find a septic tank cover, in his suit! He did this because I was back east, and it would take a couple of days for me to get a friend to the house and help. Due to Mark Fuller’s efforts and tenacity, we were able to close the home faster than expected despite Conservatorship law requirements. With the home sale, my father will safely remain in an excellent care facility for the duration of his life. Mark Fuller’s dedication to his work lightened my terribly burdensome load regarding my father and legal matters on his behalf. The stress removed from my life because of Mark Fuller’s dedication and commitment helped me stay focused on other critical matters. Mark Fuller proved his value beyond measure and will forever be first on my list of go to people when real estate questions arise. I wanted to share some thoughts regarding our experience selling our single-family residence in Folsom with real estate agent Mark Fuller. Mark met with us well in advance of putting our house on the market and provided great insight and advice on the types of updates, enhancements, and repairs that would help us maximize our ultimate sales price of the home. Based on Mark’s guidance, we spent many months fixing up the house before we put it on the market, and the house showed very well. Mark also spent a great deal of time on marketing (professional photographs, social media, advertising, etc.) to generate interest prior to and during the process of selling our home. Shortly after putting our home on the market, a number of significant economic barriers hit the real estate marking, primarily the tariffs. During this time Mark expertly assisted us promoting the house and keeping the level of interest high. We ultimately received an excellent offer on our home, unfortunately the real estate agent for the buyer was unqualified and presented many challenges, this was where the experience, professionalism, and character of Mark was really on display and I really cannot emphasize enough how much this meant to us.
